Introduction

Audio media sharing and file creation has had a great impact on language teaching and learning methodologies in the last 5 years. Language teachers need to possess the technical skills and pedagogical foundations to adequately incorporate media use in their classrooms. This module provides experience in using web2 tools which may facilitate this endeavor. The teacher will become familiar with the vast array of options of podcasts and videopodcast series available. Once the teacher has acquired the skill to produce his own audio, he/she will then design a student-oriented project for the production of podcasts.
